Are you looking for a long lasting and durable battle rope that can withstand hundreds of thousands of throws? You’re in luck because I found the best battle rope for you.

It took me a couple weeks of research, and I came across this monster of a product. The POWER GUIDANCE Battle Rope is in it’s own category. I mean it when I say it, this rope can handle a beating. Ever since the lockdown, I have been looking for a rope to buy so I can use it at home and this is definitely it.

The rope is covered in a nylon sleeve in order to protect it from all the friction it goes through. I believe that the sleeve is one of the key features that separates it from the other ropes. Because if you go to the gym, you know that the ropes on the triceps pushdown machine wears out fast and starts to look really bad after a couple of months. Imagine that on a battle rope. No thanks. The grip is also heat shirked on the rope and it feels really firm to hold onto.

It comes in six variations (30ft, 40ft and 50ft), with 1.5″ and 2″ thickness. I personally went with the 50 feet x 1.5″ rope after reading other reviews and I think it is the perfect size for me as a 6’3″ 200 pound male. But I can definitely see someone that has never used a rope buying the 30 feet variation and someone that is a veteran using the 50 feet one.

According to the listing on Amazon, the approximate weight of the ropes are:

1.5″ x 30 ft – 18 lbs2 ” x 30 ft – 30.5 lbs
1.5″ x 40 ft – 24 lbs2 ” x 40 ft – 40 lbs
1.5″ x 50 ft – 30 lbs2 ” x 50 ft – 49 lbs

I personally think that any of the 1.5″ variations are good, but it starts to get a bit heavy once you hit the 40 and 50 feet by 2″ ropes.

An amazing bonus to this rope is that it comes with an anchor that you can screw into your wall. It feels extremely durable and doesn’t feel like it is going to come off anytime soon.
